Your decision to use Rust reminds me of my decision, back in the 70’s to buy a Sony betamax, rather than the vhs protocol. It was the clearly superior technology. But it had no content ecosystem feeding it, almost no movies. The vhs had the ecosystem to feed it, and though it was inferior technology, it won over the better solution. The decision was based on technology, not the beneficial ecosystem and ease of inputs, flows, and stocks, into that ecosystem.
